Job OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced EIA Coordinator at a Senior level through to Senior Associate to join our team permanently. With offices across the UK, we offer a mix of home and office working to maintain a good work‑life balance. Our growth supports multiple sectors, including major energy and infrastructure schemes. Projects include carbon capture and storage, renewable energy of all types and scales, hydrogen, and transmission & distribution.
ResponsibilitiesAt the Senior / Senior Associate level, your tasks will include supporting the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients throughout the development lifecycle. You will manage EIA screening and scoping processes, prepare Environmental Statements, review technical input, and produce environmental and planning‑related reports.
Associates and Senior Associates will guide and lead the planning and delivery of projects, oversee Environmental Impact Assessments, and prepare related reports. You will work with senior leadership to develop client relationships and support the development of junior team members. You will also contribute to proposals, bids, and the financial management of projects, delivering integrated environmental services.
About YouStrong environmental planning experience (EIA), preferably in the energy sector, and either chartered or working towards chartership. Broad understanding of environmental issues and disciplines, working knowledge of consenting regimes and development management procedures (Town and Country Planning & Planning Act, Hybrid Bill, etc.).
Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams, a track record of financial management of projects, and excellent communication skills at all levels. You will be able to manage and mentor others, demonstrate competency and flexibility, and be open to full‑time or part‑time roles in any Stantec office.
