Principal Engineer (C# / .NET) – Fully Remote UK - up to £180k Base + Bonus + 15% ESP

The Role

You’ll be a technical leader who:

• Sets the bar for engineering excellence and helps teams deliver customer value faster through modern principles and practices.
• Contributes to product and technical direction, identifying capability gaps and driving continuous improvement across a cross-functional environment.
• Leads architectural and design discussions; audits codebases to maintain high standards across the business.
• Guides teams through growth phases and can act as incident coordinator when needed.
• Coaches and mentors engineers across disciplines, building strong relationships and clear communication channels.
• Lead of huge migration projects

What you’ll bring

• Proven ability to lead or facilitate application design at scale and making strategic code-based decision
• Experience auditing and improving codebases, championing engineering standards and contributing to new ones.
• Expertise in distributed systems architecture and scaling real-world products.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
