The Role As Quality Engineer, you will lead quality-related activities across production value streams, ensuring customer requirements are embedded and consistently delivered. This is a hands-on, technical role focused on driving continuous improvement across Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers to enhance product and process performance, reduce cost of poor quality and support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Maintain compliance with all relevant quality and regulatory standards (e.g. ISO 9001 and industry standards) Lead investigations into production non-conformances, implementing robust corrective actions Maintain accurate records of quality issues and resolutions Oversee calibration and maintenance of monitoring and measuring equipment Collaborate cross-functionally to improve products and processes Drive quality performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives Support audits, customer visits and factory acceptance testing Ensure effective implementation of product and process changes, including new product introduction Identify and reduce cost of poor quality across operations What You Will Need Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience) Proven experience in a Quality Engineering or similar role within manufacturing Strong problem-solving capability using structured methodologies such as 8D, A3 or Kaizen Experience working in a fast-paced, team-based environment Excellent time management and prioritisation skills Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills
Desirable Experience managing supplier non-conformances Internal auditing experience within Quality Management Systems Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience Six Sigma Green Belt (or working towards) Demonstrated ability to influence and promote a strong quality culture
