As an experienced engineer at Allstate, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and operation of scalable, secure, high‑performing digital products that protect millions of customers. Typical work includes:

• Building and enhancing full‑stack applications using modern languages, frameworks, and cloud‑native tooling.
• Leading engineering best practices including TDD, CI/CD, Dev Ops automation, and 12‑factor design.
• Partnering with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers in outcome‑focused, cross‑functional teams.
• Taking ownership across the full lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and support.
• Applying modern engineering principles to continuously improve performance, reliability, and quality.
• Exploring emerging technologies such as generative and agentic AI as part of Allstate’s innovation culture.

These roles are best suited to engineers who:

• Bring strong professional experience in software engineering, cloud development, or platform engineering.
