Role DescriptionOur Internship & Placement programme is designed to give you hands‑on insight into the work we do as a company and help develop skills and knowledge within your chosen field. Supported by sign‑posted training, the programme is based on Arcadis’ core values, giving you technical training, professional development and opportunities to immerse yourself in real projects and clients over a 10–12 week internship or a 12 month placement.
RoleAccountabilities
As a project manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of innovative and sustainable projects across sectors such as infrastructure, buildings, water, and the environment. You’ll help plan, coordinate, and manage project activities from inception to completion, including assisting with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, developing project plans and timelines, monitoring budgets, tracking progress, and facilitating clear communication with multidisciplinary teams and clients while embracing sustainability and digital innovation.

- BSc or MSc Construction or Engineering related degree such as Construction Project Management, Civil Engineering or Project Management.
- We also consider candidates from a non‑accredited background who show particular interest in our industry; courses such as Law, Management and Business related degrees are welcome to apply for our graduate programme.
- We support all candidates who aspire to become chartered and professionally recognised through international organisations such as RICS, APM.
- Working towards a degree in a relevant subject.
- Demonstrate core Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to use technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working embraced where possible).
