role will see the successful candidate develop into a skilled BMS Engineer, starting with hands‑on site‑based work. You will support planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems while building specialist knowledge in BMS controls through structured internal and external training, as well as on‑site mentoring and shadowing.

This company has been established for nearly 50 years and has built a strong reputation across Northern Ireland due to the high‑quality service they provide. Their work primarily focuses on HVAC control systems across sectors including Healthcare, Retail, Commercial, and Industrial.

This role would suit a Junior or aspiring Engineer with an electrical or mechanical background looking to specialise in BMS systems within a well‑established and supportive company.

• Assist with the installation of BMS equipment and wiring
• Support configuring controllers, uploading programs, and performing functional testing
• Help diagnose faults and assist with maintenance and hardware replacement
• Liaise with clients and contractors to support project delivery and provide updates
• Produce reports on system performance, alarms, and incidents
• Travel to sites across Northern Ireland, with occasional lodging (no more than one week per year)

• Basic electrical or mechanical engineering knowledge
• Experience in a site‑based engineering or maintenance role
• Eagerness to learn and develop within BMS/building services
