The Role- Design and develop high‑precision mechanical products and assemblies.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electronic and manufacturing engineering.
- Support new product development, testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Produce detailed engineering drawings, assemblies, BOMs and technical documentation.
- Support technical problem‑solving and engineering optimisation projects.
This opportunity would particularly suit a Mechanical Design Engineer coming from electronic devices, instrumentation, electro‑mechanical systems, scientific equipment, or other precision‑engineered product environments.
Essential Criteria- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within Mechanical Design or Product Development.
- Strong 3D CAD experience, ideally Solid Works or similar.
- Experience designing precision‑engineered or electro‑mechanical products.
- Strong understanding of tolerancing, manufacturability, and engineering documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
