Mechanical Design Engineer

Your new role Produce 3D models of parts & assemblies. Produce 2D detail drawings of parts and 2D assembly drawing. Produce electrical harness routing and equipment layouts. Produce 2D and 3

DPDFs of electrical harness and equipment layouts. Assembly and BOM configuration. Release of engineering drawings following company release procedures. Change management of engineering drawings following company release procedures. Support prototype hardware build through NPI development. Contribute to design solutions. Work collaboratively as part of an integrated project team. Deliver work packages to the project plan. Work within the company procedures as laid out in the Design Office Handbook.

What you'll need to succeed Hold a relevant Degree/Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or a minimum of 2 years working in an engineering environment Previous experience with one of the design software packages such as Auto Cad, Pro E, Solidworks, Catia etc Proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with customers, manufacturing, suppliers and production Results driven with a can-do attitude to ensure solutions Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
