• Demonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure everyone follows correct processes.
• Track equipment performance through visual checks, condition‑based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks, scheduling additional servicing when required.
• Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
• Solve equipment issues to reduce downtime, enabling operations to process packages quickly.
• Support continuous improvement of systems and standardise processes across the EU network.

• NVQ Level 3 / SVQ Level 3 / IVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 / EAL Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or UK certified apprenticeship of 4 years.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems, electrical and electronic principles, preventative maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, PLC programming, NEC, and work order management.

• Associate's degree in Mechatronics or a related technical field.
• Experience in vendor or facilities management.
• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or engineering team lead.
• Experience with material handling equipment safety standards and OEM requirements.
