Design Engineer

Hays Engineering are working in partnership with a well-established and growing manufacturing organisation based in Dungannon. Due to continued expansion and investment, our client is seeking to appoint a Junior Design Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. Your new role As a Design Engineer, you will support the design and development of bespoke products and systems.

Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, you will be involved in the full design lifecycle from concept through to production.

Key responsibilities include:

Producing 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using Solid Works Assisting in the design and development of new and existing products Supporting prototype development, testing, and design modifications Liaising with production teams to ensure manufacturability and efficiency Maintaining accurate design documentation and BOMs Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives What you'll need to succeed
