We're looking for an experienced Engineering Lead to join our engineering function at Manthorpe Building Products. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of maintenance, manufacturing engineering, and CAPEX projects while playing a key role in driving operational excellence, business growth, and continuous improvement.

** What You'll Be Doing
** As Engineering Lead you'll be responsible for leading all engineering activities across the site, ensuring our equipment, processes, and tooling operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading and developing a high-performing, multi-skilled engineering team.
* Championing a strong health, safety, and compliance culture across the operation.
* Developing and delivering preventative maintenance strategies to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
* Driving Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
* Managing CAPEX projects from concept through to successful delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Collaborating with production, quality, and wider business functions to deliver operational improvements and support business growth.
* Managing contractor relationships, engineering resources, maintenance systems, and spare parts to ensure smooth operations.
** What We're Looking For
** We're seeking a motivated engineering professional who brings both strong technical expertise and proven leadership experience.

You'll ideally have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's degree desirable).
* Strong experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership or management responsibility.
* A proven track record of delivering engineering and CAPEX projects.
* Strong knowledge of maintenance, equipment reliability, and manufacturing engineering.
* Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* The ability to inspire, develop, and lead engineering teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to solving problems and delivering results.
