Job Description
At WSP, our Water Team delivers hydraulic modelling and wastewater network solutions to major UK water companies. The role of Wastewater Network Modeller (Assistant to Principal) involves developing, analyzing, and maintaining hydraulic models to support asset performance and feasibility studies.
Responsibilities- Provide technical input on urban drainage and wastewater projects.
- Support development of feasibility studies and optimisation of asset performance using network models.
- Prepare reports and supporting drawings.
- Define work required by field investigation teams.
- Maintain client relationships, coordinate project meetings.
- Contribute to team knowledge through sharing and training.
- Promote WSP brand at industry forums and conferences.
- Degree in engineering, environmental science, geography, or related discipline.
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g. ICE/CIWEM) or working toward chartership.
- Sound knowledge of urban drainage modelling and ability to validate technical outputs.
- Extensive experience with hydraulic modelling software, particularly Info Works ICM or similar.
- Familiarity with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Map Info.
