Senior Design Engineer Campsie, Derry/Londonderry Competitive Salary  Excellent Benefits The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join a globally recognised manufacturer at its Campsie facility. As a Senior Design Engineer, you'll play a leading role in the development of innovative machinery, taking ownership of major design projects from concept through to production. Working closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams, you'll drive new product development, mentor junior engineers and contribute to the future direction of an expanding product portfolio.

The Role You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions while supporting the development of both new and existing products.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead the design and development of new products and major product improvements Take ownership of engineering projects from concept through to production release Produce and review detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings and technical documentation Ensure products meet performance, reliability, safety and legislative requirements Drive design-for-manufacture principles to improve product quality and reduce manufacturing costs Lead prototype development, testing and product validation activities Work closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure successful product launches Investigate technical issues, customer feedback and warranty concerns, implementing robust engineering solutions Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior members of the engineering team Support aftersales and dealer networks with complex technical queries Research emerging technologies and competitor products to ensure continued innovation across the product range Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practice About You We're looking for an experienced Design Engineer with:
