Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Senior Civil Reservoir Engineer in our rapidly growing Belfast office whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model. You will help to deliver industry-leading reservoir and dam projects across the UK and further afield, from safety upgrades to new storage and resilience schemes.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience, receive expert mentorship, and the opportunity to shape the future of water resource management. Heres what youll do:
Lead the planning, design, and delivery of reservoir and dam projects, including embankments, spillways, outlet works, dam raising, and remediation works. Provide technical leadership for feasibility studies, options appraisals, outline and detailed design, and construction support. Undertake and review dam safety assessments, hydrology studies, flood routing, drawdown assessments, and dam breach analyses. Prepare high-quality technical reports, specifications, drawings, and design documentation.
Coordinate with Panel Engineers, regulators, water companies, contractors, and lead site inspections, investigations, and asset condition assessments. Support bids and proposals, mentor junior engineers, champion sustainability initiatives, and engage in continuous professional development. Become part of our dynamic Water business, which boasts around 600 experts across the UK & Ireland, including your immediate team of over thirty UK based reservoir engineers.

Heres what were looking for: A bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field. Experience in reservoir engineering, water resource management, or related consultancy roles.
