Context Your Opportunity As our local and regional workload continues to grow, we’re looking for a technically strong Structural Building Engineer to join our well established team. Alongside projects in our core markets, this role also offers exposure to national and international schemes, creating a strong mix of variety, challenge, and opportunity. We’re looking for an engineer with strong design capability, sound judgement, and a track record of delivering high quality multi-storey structural solutions.

Day to Day Lead or support the structural design and delivery of building projects from concept through to detailed design and construction stage input.

Prepare calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications in line with project requirements and Australian Building standards/codes. Work closely with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to develop efficient and buildable solutions.

Respond to technical queries, contribute to design meetings, and provide input throughout project delivery.

Offer guidance and technical support to junior engineers as part of the wider team.

Profile/Skills

What We Are Looking For Extensive experience in structural engineering, with a background in complex building projects.

Excellent technical understanding of structural design, materials, and relevant standards and codes, with experience working on local projects in Australia. Experience in AS3600 is essential

Ability to manage your own workload, take ownership of deliverables, and work with a high level of accountability.

Clear communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A practical, thoughtful approach and a commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and well-resolved engineering solutions.

Software experience in ETABS, RAPT, RAM, Strand7 or similar.
