Job Title : Fire Risk Assessor

Employment Type: Permanent (Full Time)

Location: Based in Belfast with work spanning Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland

Salary: 40k per annum

Job Description:

The Fire Risk Assessor role requires attendance at customer sites, culminating in the delivery of full and comprehensive Fire Risk Assessment Reports. This will include identifying hazards, and the provision of guidance to assist our clients to reduce or remove any risks, enabling them to comply with their statutory obligations and fire safety best practices.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine fire safety inspections at client sites to ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations and standards
  • Perform thorough Fire Risk Assessments to identify potential fire hazards and develop strategies for their prevention
  • Develop and implement fire safety plans and emergency response procedures for our clients
  • Ensure Fire Risk Assessment reports are completed promptly and accurately
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current fire safety practices, codes, guides, and fire safety management requirements
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of fire safety competency including willingness to maintain up to date knowledge of current fire safety practices, codes and guides, fire safety management principles and policies
  • Participation in CPD events, online forums, membership of relevant professional bodies and relevant training courses.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for technical issues arising from specific customer enquiries and/or from contracts / assignments
  • Develop and maintain excellent client and colleague relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Work to ISO
    9001 / BAFE SP205 standards
  • Work towards achieving overall team / company goals

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • NEBSOH General Cert
  • NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management
