You'll play a key role in the design and development of projects from initial concept through to installation, working alongside experienced engineers and project teams. This company is continuing to expand its presence within the renewable energy sector and is looking to strengthen its in-house design capability. You will be joining a collaborative technical team where your designs will directly influence project performance, buildability and commercial success.
In this role, you will produce detailed system layouts, technical drawings and performance assessments for a variety of commercial and industrial projects. You will utilise AutoCAD and industry-specific software to develop accurate and buildable designs whilst coordinating with project managers, procurement teams and installation engineers throughout project delivery. Full training on Solar PV design software and renewable energy systems can be provided for candidates with a strong engineering design background.
The Role:
Produce technical drawings, layouts and design packs Complete performance assessments and design calculations Work on commercial and industrial renewable energy projects Utilise AutoCAD and specialist design software Liaise with Project Managers, procurement teams and installation engineers Monday-Friday, 37.5-hour week
The Person :
Design Engineer, CAD Engineer or similar Experience using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software Experience producing technical drawings for engineering or construction projects Commutable to Lichfield Reference: BBBH
