£110k earning potential. Major hyperscale data centre developments. Owner-side influence on the infrastructure powering global cloud technology.
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager who knows the difference between a system that's been installed and one that's genuinely ready to energise.

About the RoleYou'll oversee electrical installation completion, testing and Levels 1-3 commissioning on major UK hyperscale data centre developments.
Working alongside Tier 1 contractors, specialist electrical teams and equipment manufacturers, you'll ensure critical electrical infrastructure is installed correctly, tested safely and ready for energisation.
Your focus is technical assurance, contractor performance, commissioning sequencing and readiness for subsequent Level 4 and Level 5 testing.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role, not simply a programme reporting position.
What You'll Be Doing- Oversee electrical installation completion, inspections, testing and Levels 1-3 commissioning.

- Oversee energisation readiness, electrical safety and LOTO procedures in coordination with authorised personnel.
- Identify technical defects, resolve commissioning constraints and protect critical milestones.
- Coordinate handover readiness ahead of Level 4/5 functional and integrated testing.
- 10+ years' experience in electrical engineering, construction or commissioning.
- Proven electrical commissioning management experience on major data centre or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of MV/LV distribution, switch gear, transformers, UPS systems and generators.
- Experience managing Levels 1-3 commissioning, electrical testing, energisation readiness and contractor coordination.
- Confident interpreting electrical drawings, SLDs, commissioning procedures and technical specifications.
- Degree or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline.
- Experience working with Tier 1 Main Contractors, electrical contractors or specialist commissioning organisations.
- Knowledge of established hyperscale commissioning frameworks and Level 4/5 testing interfaces.
- Experience with BMS, EPMS, complex energisation programmes or phased handovers.
Your experience could translate extremely well into this owner-side environment.
