Structural Engineer

Your new company Our client is a well-established and growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong reputation across Northern Ireland and Ireland. They deliver a broad range of structural and civil engineering projects spanning commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial and public sector to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their Belfast team.

Your new role As a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a variety of building structures from concept through to construction. Working closely with senior engineers and project teams, your responsibilities will include:
Structural analysis and design using a range of materials including steel, concrete, masonry and timber. Preparation of calculations, technical reports and design drawings. Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and other stakeholders. Conducting site visits and inspections as required. Supporting the delivery of projects to programme and budget. Assisting with the mentoring of graduate engineers where appropriate. What you'll need to succeed Degree qualified in Civil or Structural working within a consulting engineering in structural design software such as Master Series, Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, ETABS or of relevant UK and Irish design communication and project coordination towards Chartership (IStructE or ICE) would be advantageous.
