This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team where you will play a key role in keeping customer orders moving smoothly from start to finish.

Based in Sherburn, this role is easily commutable from Scarborough, Malton and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities:
  • Process and manage customer orders using SAP, ensuring all orders are acknowledged within 24 hours
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and managing order queries
  • Handle requests to expedite or delay orders, working closely with production and planning teams
  • Raise and manage customer complaints, working with internal teams to achieve timely resolutions
  • Process credit and debit notes, liaising with Finance to resolve any account queries
  • Coordinate with Transport to obtain delivery updates and arrange expedited shipments where needed
  • Release orders to Planning and Production, supporting efficient scheduling and delivery
  • Collaborate with internal departments to balance customer needs with production capacity
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times
  • Maintain strong communication across teams, contributing to a collaborative working environment
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, ISO regulations and internal policies
About you:
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to use systems confidently, SAP experience would be ideal but not essential if you can pick systems up quickly
  • High attention to detail with strong technical capability, comfortable handling a high volume of processing
  • Ambitious and keen to develop, whether within customer service or the wider business, with a clear progression route available for those who want it
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment
Working hours and salary:

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:15am – 4:40pm and Friday 8:15am – 3:55pm, with an unpaid 40-minute lunch break. The salary is £27,800, with potential for an increase within your first 12 months.

If you are looking to build your career within a supportive manufacturing environment where you can learn and develop, this could be a great next step.
