Financial Controller

Red D are recruiting a Financial Controller for an exciting new hotel opening in Belfast. This is a rare opportunity to shape the full financial function across a new hotel from pre-opening through to stabilisation. You'll set up the systems, build the controls, and play a key part in the senior team as the hotels launch and grow.

This role suits a Financial Controller who enjoys structure, pace, and the challenge of building something from day one.

As Financial Controller, you will:

• Lead all pre-opening finance preparation including systems setup
• Establish financial controls, reporting structures, and SOPs
• Own month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Provide financial insights to the General Manager and senior leadership team
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
• Build and develop the finance function
• Partner with operations to support profitability and cost efficiency
• Play a strategic role during opening and post-opening stabilisation

• Experienced Hotel Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
• Strong hospitality finance background
• Pre-opening experience an advantage
• Commercial, analytical, and well organised
• Confident working in a fast-moving environment
• Enjoys building processes and developing teams
