About You:

A recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) or qualified by experience in a senior role 510 years post-qualification experience at senior accountant level Excellent analytical, reporting and IT skills, including MIS and advanced Excel Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders Proven leadership ability and strong commercial awareness Experience in manufacturing, product costing, or ERP systems (desirable) Your Responsibilities Always Lead the finance function and ensure full compliance with reporting standards, legal requirements and IFRS Produce accurate monthly accounts, budgets and group reporting for the parent company Provide analysis, insights and recommendations to support business performance Oversee statutory accounts and audits, ensuring all deadlines are met Maintain strong financial controls, reconciliations and effective use of the ERP system Support departmental managers on KPIs, cost management and inventory valuation Ensure VAT returns, policies and core financial processes are completed accurately and on time Uphold health, safety and environmental compliance Often Participate in preparing quotations for new business and grant applications Monitor and manage existing bank loans Collaborate on continuous improvement programmes and information-sharing initiatives Provide support across the organisation on financial reporting and system-related queries Occasionally Undertake Company Secretary legal requirements Liaise with external regulatory bodies Support other duties or project-based work as required Never Miss the chance to share your ideas Attempt to teach a goldfish to play chess Interested?
