Senior Accountant
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic and fast‑paced environment within TV production.
This role offers broad exposure across financial management, statutory reporting, HR duties, and project‑based accounting, working closely with senior leadership and multiple key stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed Strong ability to build close working relationships with Senior Management, CEO, MD, and departmental heads. Proven experience managing cash functions including banking, reconciliations, multi‑currency transactions, and opening new accounts. HR administration experience: preparing employment contracts, managing HMRC & pension processes, payroll, year‑end submissions, holiday management, and freelance agreements.
Strong month‑end and year‑end processing skills. Ability to prepare statutory accounts, audit files, and corporation tax returns. Experience managing SPVs: setting up new companies, VAT registration, statutory returns, and bank account creation. Competence with expenses systems and ensuring timely staff reimbursements. Experience preparing VAT returns, DETI returns, and other statutory filings. Strong analytical skills to review, approve, and finalise cost reports.
Experience preparing project budgets, cashflows, NI spend reports, audit & economic impact reporting, and other financial documentation. Ability to work collaboratively with auditors, inspectors, clients, and financiers. Experience running weekly domestic and international payment runs, and supervising petty cash processes. Knowledge of intercompany transactions, project recoveries, and invoicing. Ability to design management accounts and turnover projections in consultation with senior leadership.
Exposure to insurance management, including annual policies, project‑specific insurance, and Key Person cover. Supervisory experience over purchase and sales ledger functions. A flexible approach with the ability to manage ad hoc analysis and reporting as required. What you'll get in return A senior role with significant autonomy and influence across the organisation.
