Credit Controller - FTC

A Coleshill-based company that takes great pride in its environmental values is looking for a dedicated Credit Controller to join its expanding operations team for a 6-month fixed term contract. Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively chase customer payments in line with agreed payment terms to reduce the risk of bad debt
• Meet weekly outbound call targets as set by the team leader
• Work collaboratively with the team to minimise overdue debt and maximise cash collection
• Identify and resolve customer disputes early in the collection cycle to prevent debt escalation
• Log and categorise outbound service requests via the internal CRM system

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with SAP is advantageous
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Previous experience working with internal and external customers to resolve issues
• Proven ability to manage multiple customer accounts to reduce outstanding debt
• Strong investigative and questioning skills to resolve queries and disputes effectively
• Persistent yet polite communication style
• A strong team player
