The Paraplanner will provide high-quality technical and administrative support to the financial planners and clients.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing detailed, accurate and compliant suitability reports across all advice areas.
  • Conducting research and analysis on products and funds to support client recommendations.
  • Preparing documentation for client meetings, including valuations and reports.
  • Liaising with external providers to obtain policy information, projections and illustrations.
  • Ensuring client files are accurate, compliant and maintained to a high standard.
  • Assisting with the processing and implementation of new business.
  • Supporting advisers with ongoing client servicing, reviews, portfolio updates and day‑to‑day queries.
  • Maintaining accurate data entry and workflow management within the back‑office system.
  • Co-ordinating advisers’ diaries and ensuring timely follow‑up actions.
  • Maintaining a high level of client communication and service.
  • Keep up to date with financial products, legislation and regulatory changes.
Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a proactive individual with a strong technical background in financial planning who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Key skills and experience include:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII) or close to completion.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a paraplanning or similar client‑support role.
  • Strong understanding of investments, pensions, and protection products.
  • Proven experience writing clear, accurate and compliant suitability reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Team player with a professional and positive approach
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
  • Experience with cash flow modelling is desirable.
