Hours:

Monday Friday, 9:00am 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)

We are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Technician to join a busy and supportive Finance team based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to accurate financial reporting.

The successful candidate will support the Finance team with day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records and assisting with monthly reporting processes.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations
• Maintain customer and supplier ledgers
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare VAT returns for review
• Maintain fixed asset registers
• Support daily finance activities across UK and Irish entities
• Provide general finance and administrative support as required

• Previous experience in accounts preparation with strong attention to detail
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles
• Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting systems (Sage experience desirable)
• Relevant qualification advantageous (Part-Qualified / QBE / IATI), though practical experience is key
