Management Accountant

We are hiring for our client, a dynamic and commercially focused organisation, seeking to appoint a talented Management Accountant to join their finance team.

This is a hands‑on, commercially driven Management Accountant role offering genuine exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence business performance. The successful Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering meaningful financial insight, driving performance improvements and supporting strategic decision‑making.

As Management Accountant, you will:

• Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful commentary
• Deliver budgeting and forecasting processes
• Provide variance analysis and performance reporting to senior stakeholders
• Business partner with operational teams to drive profitability
• Support cost control initiatives and margin improvement
• Assist with cashflow forecasting and financial planning
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
• Support year‑end processes and liaise with external auditors

This is a visible role within the business where your input will directly influence decision‑making.

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
• Strong management accounts experience in a commercial environment
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence non‑finance stakeholders
• Commercially astute with strong analytical capability
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with attention to detail
• Strong Excel and systems experience

• Competitive salary of £50,000 – £55,000
