The Role:

Reporting to senior leadership, the Senior Pensions Administrator will be responsible for:
Managing and overseeing the day-to-day running of Defined Benefit schemes. Acting as a point of contact for scheme members, trustees, and advisers. Performing and checking more complex benefit calculations (e.g. ill-health, divorce, or non-standard cases). Review and authorise the work of junior colleagues, providing mentoring and guidance. Ensuring tasks are completed accurately, on time, and within service standards. Contributing to scheme exercises such as wind-ups, GMP reconciliations, and member communications.

Working proactively and independently, resolving queries and identifying improvements. Supporting business development by contributing technical input for proposals or attending client pitches alongside senior colleagues. Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person :
The successful Senior Pensions Administrator will meet the following criteria:
Strong Defined Benefit (DB) pensions administration experience;
Strong technical knowledge of UK pensions legislation and regulatory requirements;
Proven experience managing complex pension cases and leading scheme administration;
Strong stakeholder management experience.
