VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with a Charitable organisation based in Belfast in their recruitment of a Senior Accountant on an interim basis. This key leadership role will be instrumental in driving financial performance, providing crucial financial insights, and offering commercial finance leadership across the organisation.

The Senior Accountant will join the senior leadership team, and will take responsibility of the businesses Financial Planning & Performance reporting. To be considered for this role, it is essential to be a Fully Qualified Accountant, ideally with previous experience of a commercial setting.

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years post qualification experience
• Successfully leading, developing, and supporting people
• Proven experience of budget preparation and consolidation, monitoring, and financial forecasting
• Production, analysis, and presentation of key financial information

What you'll do

• Manage finance team, fostering a high-performance culture, supporting the Financial Planning & Performance team
• Leading budgeting and forecasting initiatives
• Provide accurate cashflow forecasts
• Produce time and accurate financial management information
• Led financial reporting
• Improve efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning processes
