Management Accountant Belfast – Hybrid – Permanent

Salary £34,000 - £38,000 depending on experience.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a busy and collaborative finance team. You will take ownership of the monthly management accounts process and play a key role in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. • Prepare monthly management accounts to tight deadlines.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Post journals and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Assist with VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements.
• Produce financial reports and commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Support the year‑end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function.
• Work closely with budget holders across the business to provide financial insight.

• Solid experience in a management accounts or similar finance role.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software.
• Ability to work to month‑end deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical skills.
• Confident communicator – able to present financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.

• Part‑qualified or fully qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
• Experience with Sage, Xero, Quick Books or similar.
• Exposure to budgeting and forecasting in a commercial environment.
