Downey Osborne is delighted to be partnering with a leading accountancy and business advisory firm in the appointment of a Tax Senior to join their growing tax team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional to develop their career within a highly respected practice. You will have:
At least 3 years' tax experience within an accountancy practice environment Experience preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns Strong knowledge of tax compliance requirements Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills The ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Either be working towards, or have achieved, a relevant qualification such as ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA About Your New Role Always:
Prepare corporation tax and personal tax returns for a varied client portfolio Review work completed by junior team members Build and maintain strong client relationships Provide a high standard of client service Liaise directly with clients on tax matters and queries Support the delivery of corporate and personal tax compliance services Work closely with colleagues across the wider business Often:
Assist with identifying opportunities to provide additional services to clients Support the development of junior team members Collaborate with senior leadership on client assignments Contribute to improving internal processes and service delivery Attend client meetings and provide tax guidance Occasionally:
Assist with specialist tax projects and advisory work Participate in networking and business development activities Support cross-border and international assignments Represent the firm at professional and social events Never:
