• Process AP/AR: supplier invoices (PO/3-way match), credit notes, payments runs, cash allocation
• Perform bank, supplier statement, and credit card reconciliations daily/weekly
• Support month-end with journals (accruals, prepayments), balance-sheet recs, and variance checks
• Assist with VAT returns (data prep, checks, query resolution)
• Maintain accurate ledgers, resolve invoice queries with suppliers/internal teams
• Build and improve Excel reports (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and help automate routine tasks

• Strong Excel skills:
  Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, IF statements, Data Validation, basic Power Query; comfortable with large datasets
• At least 1 year's finance experience (AP/AR/assistant accounting) with solid reconciliation skills
• Excellent time management, accuracy and attention to detail; confident communicator
• Experience with an accounting package (e.g., Sage, Xero, Net Suite, or similar)
