Location:
Belfast City Centre Job Type: Full-time, 12-month fixed term contract Reed Recruitment is working with a prestigious Charitable Organisation with offices based in Belfast City Centre. Our client has an immediate requirement for a full-time Part Qualified Accountant/ Accounting Technician to join their team on a full-time basis, for an initial 12-month fixed term contract with possible extension. The successful applicant will be offered a full-time 37-hour contract, working within a fast paced and busy Finance team, that offers flexible working, and hybrid working ( 2 days in office, 3 days successful applicant will be responsible for completing the following daily duties;
Day-to-day of the role:
Support Finance Business Partners in delivering a proactive and value-adding finance service Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, working with service managers to ensure assumptions are robust and aligned to operational plans Assist with in-year reforecasting Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Assist in preparing financial information for funding applications, tenders, and grant reporting, ensuring full cost recovery principles are applied Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment. Previous experience in a finance, credit control, or customs/logistics environment is desirable. Familiarity with compliance processes or regulatory documentation is advantageous Benefits:
