We are currently sourcing for a Banking & Finance solicitor who is keen to take the next step in their career. This is a chance to join one of the leading finance teams in Northern Ireland?
Our client is seeking a Solicitor (ideally 14 years' PQE) to join its highly regarded Banking & Finance team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of high-value, complex financing transactions alongside market-leading lawyers, advising an impressive client base that includes major banks, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, alternative lenders and corporate borrowers.
The Role
You will become part of a busy and collaborative team advising on a wide variety of finance matters, including:
- Acquisition and leveraged finance
- Real estate and development finance
- Structured lending transactions
- Refinancings and syndicated lending
- Cross-border finance matters
- Loan portfolio transactions
- Private credit and alternative lending arrangements
- Corporate and investment-grade lending
The team is widely recognised as one of the most active banking and finance practices in Northern Ireland, regularly advising on complex domestic and cross-border transactions across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Recent work has included advising lenders and borrowers on acquisition financings, development and property finance transactions, debt restructurings, structured lending mandates and significant private equity-backed investments.
The group is also increasingly active in matters involving alternative lenders, private credit providers and large-scale investment projects across a range of sectors.
About You
Applications are welcomed from solicitors with:
- Approximately 14 years' PQE gained within a recognised Banking & Finance team
- Experience of advising lenders, borrowers or sponsors on finance transactions
- Strong drafting and technical skills
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to client service
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within banking and finance
