Payroll Specialist

Role Overview

This role requires a proactive individual who will primarily be responsible for delivering an effective and accurate payroll service to all employees on Citi’s UK Payroll. The role involves dealing with complex employee queries including PAYE tax issues, whilst delivering a high level of customer service at all times.

• Resolve employee queries using Servicenow
• Maintain employee records on Workday
• Calculate and record payroll deductions or earnings as necessary
• Review and audit payroll records
• Reconcile earnings and deduction totals
• Create and maintain maternity schedules
• Participate in projects and initiatives as they arise

We are looking for a proactive individual with previous relevant Payroll experience, experience of using Workday Payroll, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated and self‑directed, with analytical and high attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting skills, and creative problem solving skills.

• Previous relevant Payroll experience
• Experience of using Workday Payroll

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent professional experience
