Assistant Accountant - Nearly Qualified

About the ideal candidate Nearly qualified or in the final stages of ACCA, CIMA or ACA Experience preparing management accounts or supporting month-end processes Strong understanding of journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations Confident using Excel and accounting/ERP systems Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business Motivated to continue developing professionally within a commercial finance environment What the role involves Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations Supporting month-end and year-end close processes Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Producing financial analysis to support business decision-making Supporting audit preparation and maintaining robust financial controls Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting Working closely with senior finance colleagues on a range of commercial finance activities If you're interested in this opportunity, please apply via the provided link or get in touch with our recruitment team for a confidential discussion.
