The successful candidate will receive in house training to grow and develop their skills" About the Job Reporting to the Finance Manager the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties Assist in preparing management accounts and variance analysis Prepare and post month-end journals and adjustments Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, and balance sheet accounts Support timely delivery of month-end close processes Reconcile revenue across e-commerce platforms and payment providers Support inventory accounting, COGS calculations, and stock reconciliations Analyse margins, costs, and product profitability Assist with audits, VAT returns, and financial reporting Previous experience 25 years experience in a finance role Part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or working towards Strong Excel/ Google Sheet's skills
