An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Actuarial Analyst to join a growing and innovative pensions consulting team.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of actuarial, investment and pension scheme advisory work, supporting trustees, sponsoring employers, pension protection organisations and not-for-profit clients. You'll work in a collaborative environment where professional development is actively supported through structured training, mentoring and broad exposure across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing- Supporting the delivery of proactive, high-quality actuarial services across a portfolio of pension scheme clients.
- Preparing actuarial calculations, member benefit calculations and actuarial models.
- Assessing the impact of demographic changes, legislation and financial market developments on pension schemes.
- Drafting reports, presentations and technical client communications.
- Participating in client meetings and developing strong stakeholder relationships.
- Using innovative actuarial technology and analytical tools to assess risks and develop tailored solutions.
- Supporting projects focused on process improvement and service innovation.
- Developing specialist expertise in areas aligned with your interests and career goals.
- Honours degree (2:1 or above in a science-based subject)
- Understanding of UK Defined Benefit pension schemes and the regulatory environment is desirable
- A-Level Mathematics or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Experience working proactively and using initiative to manage and complete tasks
- Understanding of UK Defined Benefit pension schemes and the regulatory environment is desirable
- Structured actuarial training and professional development
- Exposure to a diverse client base across multiple sectors
- Direct interaction with senior leadership and experienced actuarial professionals
