Accounts Assistant Belfast Permanent Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Belfast, who are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant . Duties Calculate and process accruals and prepayments Maintain fixed asset and intercompany accounts Prepare month-end reconciliations and assist with management accounts Support VAT returns and yearly financial statement activities Assist with audit preparations, budget setting, and forecasting Oversight of payroll function and collating data Assist in monitoring financial controls and system updates Report building, preparation and maintenance Uphold health & safety policies and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace environment Essential:
Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (actively studying and progressing) Recent experience in a fast-paced finance environment Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiar with accounting software A proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of prioritising tasks effectively What to do next Please contact Gemma Dunlop on or email
