Management Accountant / Treasury Accountant 6 Month Contract | £300-£425 per day | North West London | Hybrid (2 days office) Immediate Start Required This is an urgent requirement, therefore only candidates who are available to start within the next two weeks will be considered. The Opportunity IN2 Consult are supporting a well-established organisation within the property sector in their search for an experienced Management Accountant / Treasury Accountant to join their finance team on an initial six-month contract.

Reporting to the Treasury Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the month-end close process, strengthening financial controls and helping the business through an ongoing finance systems transition. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working through complex reconciliations, improving processes and investigating data issues within a changing finance environment.

Key Responsibilities Support the month-end and quarter-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Perform complex balance sheet reconciliations across treasury-related accounts. Investigate and resolve legacy data issues arising from the migration to a new finance system. Reconcile loan balances between legacy systems and the new ERP. Review and correct intercompany loan balances and interest postings. Investigate and resolve issues with funder codes and migrated master data.

Improve financial controls and enhance treasury accounting processes. Work closely with the Treasury Accounting Manager to streamline month-end activities and improve team efficiency. Review accruals and treasury accounting journals to ensure completeness and accuracy. Support the cleansing, validation and reconciliation of migrated financial data. Assist with the accounting for a significant loan portfolio and associated financing costs. Collaborate with a small finance team to manage priorities during busy reporting periods.

About You To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive finance professional who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with complex data. You will ideally have: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or be qualified by experience). Strong financial accounting and balance sheet reconciliation experience. Previous treasury accounting experience. Understanding of Treasury Management Systems (TMS).

Experience working with Workday Finance (highly desirable). Advanced Excel skills, including working with large datasets. Experience supporting finance system migrations or ERP implementations. Strong analytical and investigative skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience accounting for loans, interest accruals and intercompany transactions. A hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. What's on Offer Initial six-month contract with the potential for extension.

£300-£425 per day (depending on experience). Hybrid working (2 days per week in the North West London office).
