Accounts Assistant - East Belfast MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a retail firm in Belfast as they recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full time, permanent basis The Rewards:

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager job duties of the accounts assistant will include:
Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions. Matching, coding and posting supplier invoices. Preparing supplier payment runs. Performing bank reconciliations and cash allocations. Managing credit control and customer account queries. Assisting with month-end finance procedures. Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and financial reports. Producing and cross-checking financial and operational reports to ensure accuracy. Any other duties outlined on the job description

The Person :
The successful Accounts Assistant will meet the following criteria:
Proven experience in a similar finance or accounts payable environment Strong analytic skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable.
