Job Type: Full-time, Fixed term contract, 6-9 months with possible extension

Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a local Public Sector organisation and assisting with the recruitment of an experienced Finance Assistant for a period of 6-9months with possible extension.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Process high-volume supplier and partner payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
• Administer partner claims and project advances, maintaining meticulous records and documentation.
• Support the rollout, training, and transition activities for MS Dynamics.
• Assist in audit preparations, financial forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Maintain financial systems, ledgers, and supporting records accurately and up-to-date.
• Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to facilitate financial operations.
• Perform general administrative duties as needed to support the finance team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in financial support roles, preferably within a corporate finance environment.
• Strong ability to process and manage high-volume transactions with attention to detail.
