Salary/Benefits Competitive salary in the range of £35,000 - £42,000 Clear opportunities for career progression Supportive environment focused on professional development Exposure to senior finance leadership and commercial projects About you Previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance role Strong understanding of month-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations Experience assisting with the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting Proficient with ERP/accounting systems such as Sage, Business Central or Net Suite, alongside strong Excel skills Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills

Experience with in construction, engineering, energy or a project-based environment would be advantageous Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or actively working towards a professional qualification (desirable) What you'll do Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met Maintain accurate financial records and support robust financial controls Produce financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making Work closely with operational teams to improve financial processes and reporting Support audit preparation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function If you're interested in further details about this opportunity, apply via the provided link or contact the recruitment team confidentially today.
