Financial Controller

Financial Controller Dunmurry £60,000 - £70,000 Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller on behalf of a well-established, business based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a growing SME and play a key role in shaping the financial performance and strategic direction of the business.

Responsibilities Lead the finance function and manage a small team, ensuring effective delivery of all financial activities. Prepare monthly management accounts, board reporting, statutory accounts, and support the annual audit process. Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to support business growth. Partner with operational teams to improve profitability, cost control, and overall business performance. Oversee working capital management, including inventory, debtor, and creditor performance.

Improve finance systems, reporting processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and decision-making.

The Person Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with proven experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar senior finance role. Strong background within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or product-based environment. Commercially focused with experience in costing, inventory, budgeting, forecasting, and operational finance. Hands-on approach with the ability to work closely with senior leadership and influence business decisions.

Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives (Sage 1000 and Power BI advantageous). For more information reach out to Chris at Artemis Human Capital.
