Financial Controller

Financial Controller Belfast - Temporary £60,000 - £70,000 Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working with a growing organisation who are seeking a Financial Controller to join its senior leadership team. This is a hands on role, responsible for leading the finance function and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely financial reporting across the group. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee a small team and play a key role in driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and performance.

This position is ideal for an experienced finance professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the finance function. Prepare monthly management accounts and group-level reporting. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes. Oversee year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation. Monitor cash flow and support financial planning. Develop and improve internal controls and financial procedures. Provide financial insight to support business decisions.

The Person Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA). Strong post-qualification experience in a senior finance role. Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team. Experience producing consolidated accounts and supporting audits. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Commercially aware, with sound financial judgment.
