About you

  • Possess a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or near qualification)
  • Demonstrable experience in financial management, including managing multiple cost centres and preparing management accounts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation
  • Strong organisational skills with a record of meeting deadlines and working independently
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Eligible to work in Ireland and the UK
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed

What you'll do

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial reports
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across programmes
  • Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with organisational controls and policies
  • Contribute to the implementation and ongoing development of financial systems, including new modules and upgrades
  • Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on financial procedures and systems
  • Ensure accuracy of financial records through reconciliations and data reviews
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives within the finance team
