We're recruiting on behalf of a well known organisation who are actively recruiting, for a Financial Controller to join their finance leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the finance function and partner closely with the Finance Director.

You'll be responsible for driving robust financial controls, leading the month-end process and delivering commercial insight that supports strategic decision-making. The Role As Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in the leadership of the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting while supporting the wider business through strong commercial partnering.

Key Responsibilities Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely management reporting. Oversee financial reporting, balance sheet integrity and Group reporting requirements. Review financial performance and cost centres, providing meaningful analysis and challenge. Lead the budgeting, forecasting for the business Business partner with Operational Directors and senior stakeholders to support commercial decision-making. Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and internal controls.

Support statutory reporting and external audit requirements. Lead, mentor and develop members of the finance team. Deputise for the Finance Director when required. About You We're looking for a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys influencing stakeholders and driving business performance. You'll ideally have:
Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or similar leadership role. Strong technical accounting, management accounting and financial reporting experience.

Experience with in a multi-site, operational or contract-led environment. Excellent budgeting, forecasting and business planning skills. What's in it for You?
