The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function. You will get broad, hands-on exposure across the transactional and month-end cycle, working closely with the wider team on everything from ledger processing to management accounts support. This is a great fit for someone part-qualified or early in their studies who wants exposure across a broad remit rather than a narrow silo, with support and mentorship close  Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts Process purchase and sales ledger transactions Perform bank reconciliations and support the month-end close Prepare and support VAT return submissions Manage accounts payable and receivable Assist with payroll processing Maintain accurate financial records and filing Support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required What You'll Need Essential:
Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/AAT) or actively studying towards a professional qualification Minimum 1-2 years' experience in an accounting or finance role Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as Sage or Xero High attention to detail with a methodical approach to work A strong communicator, comfortable working independently and as part of a team Desirable / Nice to Have:
Prior exposure to payroll processing
