Interim Finance Manager

Your new company
A well-established and highly regarded organisation based in Belfast is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their finance team on a fixed-term basis to provide cover during a planned period of leave. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a busy and fast-paced environment where they can make an immediate impact.
Your new role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function during a 3-4 month period. This is a hands-on position suited to an experienced Finance Manager who enjoys being actively involved in financial operations and responsibilities will include:

• Managing the month-end process and production of management accounts
• Budget preparation and ongoing forecasting
• Financial reporting and performance analysis
• Variance analysis and commentary
• Cashflow management and monitoring
• Supporting operational and strategic decision-making through financial insight
• Ensuring financial controls and processes are maintained
• Business partnering with key stakeholders across the organisation

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Previous experience operating at Finance Manager level
• Strong month-end, budgeting and forecasting experience
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
