Finance Manager

Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for a well established and highly respected organisation that delivers vital services and support across the island of Ireland. Due to continued growth and ambitious strategic plans, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join the organisation's leadership team and play a key role in shaping its financial future.

Your new role Leading, mentoring and developing the finance team to deliver a high-performing and collaborative service. Overseeing day-to-day finance operations, including purchase ledger, payroll, cash flow management and reconciliations. Managing the annual budgeting and forecasting process. Producing monthly management accounts and presenting financial performance reports to senior stakeholders. Delivering budget monitoring reports, variance analysis and financial insights to support decision-making.

Managing reporting requirements for a range of funding streams and ensuring compliance with funding conditions. Supporting external audit processes and maintaining strong relationships with auditors and key stakeholders. Reviewing and enhancing financial systems, controls and processes to improve efficiency and governance. Identifying potential financial risks and implementing appropriate mitigation measures. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. What you'll need to succeed Will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) Proven experience leading and developing finance teams.

Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting expertise. Excellent financial control and compliance knowledge. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to communicate financial information effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
